With effect from Sat, 30 Jan, please take note of the following changes for the swimming pool.
In accordance with the current safe management measures, there is a maximum capacity of 50 people allowed in the swimming pool area at any one time.
To further improve member experience at the swimming pool area, we will be introducing a members-only policy during weekends and public holidays when the Club is at its busiest.
Effective Saturday, 30 January 2021, only members will be able to use the pool area during weekends and public holidays.
You may continue to bring your guests to the restaurants during the weekend and to the pool area from Monday to Friday.
A recent measure implemented on the weekends for the swimming pool is having one entry point accessible via the Verandah Café Terrace door and one exit point via the door leading towards the Ladies’ Shower Rooms. This allows us better control on the flow and safe distancing. Once the pool area is at maximum capacity, members are advised to put their names on a waitlist; they are then notified once there are slots available. Parents dropping off their children at the pool for swimming lessons are advised to wait at the restaurants.
Gentle reminders
• Maintain safe distance from others at all times
• Wear your face mask when not swimming
• Lilos and inflatables are NOT permitted in the swimming pools for safety reasons. Inflatable life rings, armbands and other swimming aids are allowed
• Before patronising the Verandah Terrace, please dry yourself and cover up swimwear with a T-shirt, sarong, etc. during the day. Swimwear is NOT permitted at the outlet after 6pm
