With new measures just announced by the Government for the period from 16 May till 13 June, we will implement the following changes effective from Sunday, 16 May 2021. As announced, the Government will review the situation two weeks after these new measures have been implemented to assess if there is a need to further adjust the measures.

At The British Club, the following will apply:

• Group sizes will be reduced from 5 to 2 persons
• Dining-in at F&B outlets will cease, both indoors and outdoors
• Takeaway and delivery operations will continue from The Verandah; the full menu will be available, including the Indian kitchen and Pizza, from 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 9am to 9pm on weekends and public holidays
• Takeaway and delivery will also be available at Windsor Arms from 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 11am to 9pm on weekends and public holidays
• All takeaway orders should be collected from The Verandah Café via the basement carpark
• Mountbatten Bar & Grill and Scores Sports Bar will be closed till further notice
• Windsor Shop will open from 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 9pm on weekends and public holidays
• Spa will remain open for massage service only (masks to be worn) from 10am to 6pm
• Work hub – Closed till further notice
• Playroom – Closed till further notice
• The Hangout will be open from 2pm to 7pm on weekdays and 12pm to 7pm on weekends (limited to 5 pax). The Hangout is closed on Mondays
• Banquet – MICE events and Solemnisation Ceremonies will be allowed with a maximum of 50 persons. No F&B service will be allowed

Swimming (6am to 9:30pm)

• Maximum of two persons per group allowed
• Individuals from the same household can exercise together, but should split into pairs and maintain safe distancing between individuals (2 metres) and different groups (3 metres) while exercising
• Children’s Pool will be closed until further notice as it is classified as a “wading and feature play pool”.
• Groups are not to intermingle and must remain three metres apart while swimming
• Maximum of 30 persons allowed in the swimming pool area at any one time
• Members are advised to stay no longer than 60 minutes to allow other members to use the facility in a safe manner

Tennis (7am to 10pm)

• Maximum of two persons allowed on one court at all times
• Only private 1-on-1 coaching is allowed. All semi-private and group coaching sessions are suspended until further notice
• No mask is needed while playing but please put them on when you leave the court

Table Tennis (7am to 10pm)

• Maximum of two persons allowed
• Mask to be worn at all times

Spa (10am to 6pm)

• Massage only
• Mask to be worn at all times

Changing rooms and shower facilities

• Will remain open. Members are to observe safe distancing measures and maintain a physical distance of ONE metre at all times
• Changing rooms with showering facilities will be limited to a maximum capacity of up to 5 persons at any one time

Gym and Fitness Studio

• Closed until further notice

Squash

• Closed until further notice

Important notes

• No Food or Beverage service or food consumption is allowed inside the Club grounds (takeaway service only)
• Water dispensers are available by the pool and the tennis courts so you can fill your water bottles
• No socialising beyond activities
• Takeaway menus available from Windsor Arms and Verandah Café. All takeaway orders should be collected from The Verandah Café via the basement carpark
