The Government announced new measures on Monday, 8 November. We will implement the following changes effective from Wednesday, 10 November 2021.

At The British Club, the following regulations will apply:

DINING-IN

1. Dining in will be allowed for groups of two persons only
2. Individuals who have recovered from Covid-19 or have obtained a negative result on a pre-event test taken in the 24 hours before dining out, will be allowed to dine in groups of two persons
3. Service staff are required to check the vaccination status of members and guests before service, either via the TraceTogether App or the vaccination certificate
4. Families with unvaccinated children 12 years and below are allowed to dine-in together in groups of up to 5 if they are from the same household
5. Unvaccinated children 12 years and below are allowed to dine-in together only if they are from the same household
6. Unvaccinated diners will not be allowed to dine-in at the outlets
7. Work Hub will open with a limited capacity of two persons at any one time
8. Library will open will a limited capacity of six persons at any one time
9. Playroom will open with a limited capacity of three children at any one time
10. The Hangout will open with a limited capacity of six children at any one time. Guests are not permitted from Friday to Sunday. Please refer to the website for the operating hours

 

BANQUET

 MICE Events

• Maximum of 50 people (dependent on venue operating capacity and safe distancing measures) seated in groups of two
• F&B service is not permitted in meeting venues
• Coffee breaks & lunch can only be served in the dining outlets
• F&B service is allowed if all participants are fully vaccinated or have valid negative PET results

Solemnizations

• Maximum of 50 people (dependent on venue operating capacity and safe distancing measures)
• Groups of up to 5 persons
• F&B service is not allowed during the ceremony

Wedding Reception

• Maximum of 50 people (dependent on venue operating capacity and safe distancing measures)
• Tables of five are allowed if all are vaccinated
• No intermingling with guests from other tables
• All guests must be vaccinated, or have negative PET results

 

SPORTS AND RECREATION CENTRE

Swimming (6am to 9:30pm) – Outdoor

• Maximum of two persons per group
• Please maintain safe distancing between individuals (2 metres) and different groups (3 metres) while exercising
• No inter-mingling between groups
• Maximum of 50 persons allowed in the swimming pool area at any one time
• Duration – recommended 60min per person

Tennis (7am to 10pm) – Outdoor

• Maximum of two persons per court
• Please maintain safe distancing between individuals (2 metres) and different groups (3 metres) while exercising
• No mask is needed while playing but please put them on when you leave the court

Table Tennis (7am to 10pm) – Indoor

• Open to fully vaccinated persons only
• Maximum of two persons

Spa (10am to 6pm) – Indoor

• Services which require masks to be removed (e.g., facials) allowed to resume if customer is vaccinated

Changing rooms and shower facilities

• Will remain open. Members are to observe safe distancing measures and maintain a physical distance of ONE metre at all times
• Changing rooms with showering facilities will be limited to a maximum capacity of up to 5 persons at any one time
• If a mask is removed during shower or face-washing, it is to be worn promptly after

Gym (8am to 10pm) – Indoor

• Open to fully vaccinated persons only
• Maximum of 20 persons in the Gym (excluding staff)
• Please refrain from talking in the Gym
• Duration – recommended 60min per person

Fitness Studio (8am to 10pm) – Indoor

• Indoor mask-off activities to resume if all individuals are vaccinated
• Indoor mask-on low-intensity activities to resume, regardless of vaccination status or if participant has taken a pre-event test

• Maximum of two persons in the Fitness Studio

Squash (8am to 10pm) – Indoor

• Open to fully vaccinated persons only
• Maximum of two persons
